Training is critical to tackle the teacher retention crisis

With thousands of teachers leaving the profession across the UK, steps need to be taken to address the retention crisis.

Providing continuing professional development (CPD) has been identified as a prime area of focus when considering improvements that can be made.

It is difficult for schools to allow staff training time but CPD can be vital. It can allow teachers a thorough understanding of children's emotional development, help children to flourish both socially and academically, and even improve staff morale.
