Hello, I just wanted to say I had supported a parent today in school who has a ten year old son who is pushing boundaries at home. I am about to complete my training with Thrive but found this article very helpful. I had given correct advice but after reading about the different tantrums I will have further advice to offer to other parents.

This is so interesting a) in terms of being able to identify "normal" on thinks of "terrible 2's, not 18mths - 4yrs, and b) developing the strategies to deal with older tantrum-ers who are interrupted at thinking or power and identity
