The challenge for schools is to support every child to fulfil their potential - in a climate of financial constraints and changing patterns of provision. As managers, teachers and support staff we have a responsibility for improving children's attainment and the progress they make as well as promoting their well-being.
- We need to reduce exclusions, to improve attendance and to reduce disruption in the classroom.
- We need to ensure that all children flourish.
- We need to be constantly alert to children's well-being
- We need to find effective ways to support our most vulnerable and troubled children to help them be more engaged, confident and able to make progress.
